Our institute held a trip to Gir Forest Reserve which is located near the city Junagadh present in the south-west of Gujarat. The entire El Mañana community joined us for the event as it was free of charge for all. The focal point for this short and refreshing getaway was networking amongst students. Maximum social networking was encouraged to help build their communication skills and learn about each other. The weekend was oriented around activities which involved a web of interactions which consisted of Music & Garba Night, Trekking, Bonfire, various sports like Volleyball, Football and Cricket. Our director Mr Manoj Ramani and managing director Ms Janki Patel gave us an inspiring speech. They shared their profound wisdom and passion for education, igniting a spark of motivation within our students. They emphasized the power of knowledge which encouraged every student to pursue their dreams relentlessly, leaving a mark on our hearts and minds. Knowing the importance of networking was a fundamental takeaway of the trip. During our time at Gir Forest Reserve, students had the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature. They marveled at the diverse wildlife, including the majestic Asiatic lions, and explored the lush landscapes. The trip was a memorable experience that provided a perfect blend of leisure, learning, and social bonding, making it a valuable and enriching outing for the entire El Mañana community.
The Indian Independence Day is on the 15th August and was celebrated courteously at El Mañana. The celebration included Flag hosting, reciting the national anthem and paying respect to the martyred. An elaborate parade was held along with a dance competition orchestrated by the students. Once we were done with the celebrations the students told us they organized a surprise trivia quiz that added an exciting twist to the Independence Day celebrations at El Mañana. The students had organized it with great enthusiasm, and everyone was eager to participate. As the participants were divided into teams, the atmosphere was filled with anticipation and friendly
competition. After several rounds of trivia and the teams narrowing down one by one the scores were tallied, and a winning team emerged. They were congratulated with a resounding round of applause. The quiz fostered a sense of camaraderie and unity among them. As the event concluded, everyone left the venue with a greater appreciation for India's history and a memorable experience of celebrating its Independence Day. It was a day filled with patriotism, learning, and unforgettable fun.
National Teachers’ Day is on the 5th September every year. El Mañana honored the day by having a lively celebration and it began by the students receiving blessings from the teachers on this
auspicious day. The students prepared a speech of gratitude in their respective language which they are learning at the institute to express their appreciation for the teachers. The students and teachers had their role-reversal classroom experience, allowing teachers to relive their younger days and letting the students understand the weight of the responsibility a teacher has to carry. To further foster a sense of unity and appreciation within the educational community. El Mañana arranged a surprise lunch for teachers and the students at a nearby restaurant to spend quality time with their teachers. The atmosphere at the restaurant was filled with excitement and anticipation as teachers and students gathered for the lunch arranged by El Mañana. The restaurant had been beautifully decorated with balloons and banners, creating a festive ambiance. Teachers’ Day at El Mañana was a heartwarming celebration of gratitude, unity, and appreciation. It was the perfect day to showcase the deep respect we have for the dedicated educators who shape the future.
